Cabo is a year-round destination for water activities, but May to October typically offers the warmest water and calmest seas.
- Snorkeling: May through October, when the water is warmer and visibility is at its peak. Early mornings offer the calmest conditions.
- Kayaking: April through October, in the early morning hours when marine life is most active and the wind and waves are low.
- Scuba Diving: August through November is the top diving season in Cabo, when water temperatures rise and visibility improves. If you are hoping to see whale sharks, go in late fall or winter.
- Surfing: Varies depending on the coast. June to August (Sea of Cortez side) and October to March (Pacific side).
- Parasailing: Available year-round, in the morning before the wind picks up and boat traffic increases.
- Fishing: October through November are peak months for marlin and other big game species. Use our Cabo Fishing resource to help plan your charter.
